Mantana's School has been featured in Prime Living (three times), Smith Mountain lake.com and several times in the Smith Mountain Lake Eagle. Her school was also featured in the local televisions, the Back Porch and PBS public television program of Virginia.

Mantana is a Thai native who has been cooking and eating Thai foods for decades.  When her friends in Moneta, VA. begged her to teach them how to cook Thai foods,  she went back to her homeland and studied at Chiengmai Technical college, Culinary arts department.

In 2005, she graduated with a degree in Traditional Thai cooking and has been teaching  Thai cooking and sharing her love for good food ever since.
